Msh_ff1 === Maine Lobster Fest, Maine, United States

This release contains three sceneries:

Bass Harbour Light House
Cranberry Field
Maine Lobster Fest (Tom's Lobster House) PLUS an adventure.......

====================================

This scenery was made:

For FS2004 and === not tested but should work in FS2002. ( The sceneries will not show on the map or 'Go to' menu. Cranberry field is just a few miles past Tom's Lobster House, so is the Lighthouse which is easy to find at night)

IT WAS SPECIALLY MADE TO BE USED (preferably) WITH 'Golden Wings' scenery enhancement for FS2004, created by Lynn and Bill Lyons and availabe FREEWARE at: http://windrfters.com/

If you do not get it, it will still perform as it should but I strongly suggest you consider its installation. More details at the above link.

====================================
I also do sceneries and aircraft repaints on special request.

ALL THE WORK I DO IS FREEWARE. I do not charge for it . However, since I am handicaped partially and cannot hold a regular job, I am sure you can appreciate that S M A L L donations are welcomed. Please hand the attached Bank Routing text information to any bank teller in the world. Or if you prefer to send by mail, please contact me.

Whichever way you choose the effort and time will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

The ADVENTURE

Go to 'KBHB' 'Hancock Co - Bar Harbor' find the sign by the gaz station on the road side.

Get in your old car and follow all those signs to Tom's Lobster House. You can try to do it by the air but this is no fun

Make sure you look at the signs to see if they indicate a turn.

On the way, you will want to stop at Lou's Diner for a nice home style meal and then on your way. While there, you can make an offer on the house for sale. The sign has been up sincer a couple of years now...

Continue on your way, over that other bridge. NO, do not pick up the hitchiker, leave her there for the next car.

A few feet from the entrance to Tom's Lobster place, have a drink of cold lemonade.

I think you are just about there now, you will find Tom waiting for you on the deck of the restaurant.

Enjoy your lobster.

KNOW ISSUES and other stuff:

Tom's Lobster House will NOT list in the airport 'go to' menu nor will it show on the map. I did not include the file for this as it should be found using the adventure. Still, if you like to have the file, send me that well deserved $20.00 donation and I will send it to you........

This scenery is fictitious except for the lighthouse which looks a bit like the one I made.

The canoes will show only in the summer. The scenery is best used in the warmer months.

The Lighthouse should be on a small cliff as in real life. The only way I know how to do this is with 'flatten areas' and it looks horrible so I opted to leave them out. If someone who has the proper program wants a go at it, please contact me.

Nit pickers and bug chasers are NOT welcomed to send me their comments. You do not like it, sorry, I will double your money back. Just send me a copy of your invoice.

If I find a way to improve an item or a texture, even if this item or texture is used in a previous release, I reserve the right to change it anytime.

=====================================

I thank Jim Jackson of Northern Exposure for his nice, picnic table and canoes. Thanks to Tom Fica for his nice flatbed truck, and old barrels. Thanks to Robert Palmer for his nice trees. Thanks to Bill Lyons for some of the vehicles but most certainly 'Golden Wing' enhancement.

I must not forget Tom Hiscox and Brian McWilliams for the program "Airport for Windows" and also Matthias Brückner for the programs FsEffects and EOD which I used to make my macros. I thank also Martin Wright for the program DXT. I also thank Lee Swordy for the program afcad.

I hope I did not forget anyone. If so, I am deeply sorry and please send me a note.

NOTE; If you already have my previous release of 'Maine Lobster Fest' simply copy/overwrite the CONTENTS ONLY of the folders into the old ones. That is all there is to it.

If you do not have the previous scenery installed, do the following:

Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the 'addon scenery' folder into: (DO NOT USE IN FS2002)
xxxxxxx/Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery/Scenery NOTICE THE WORD SCENERY IS REPEATED HERE.

Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the 'Effects' folder into: xxxxxxx/Flight Simulator 9/Effects

Place the COMPLETE FOLDER 'Maine Lobster Fest' with its contents where you usually install your sceneries, normally:
xxxxxxx/Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery

If you wish, after, you may cut and paste the CONTENTS ONLY of the texture folder into the main texture
folder of your simulator. DO NOT REMOVE THE EMPTY FOLDER OR IT WON'T WORK.

Activate in the scenery library.

Restart Flight Simulator and enjoy
